Chiddingstone Castle and Gardens, nestled in Kent near Hever & Penshurst Castles, consists of a Grade 2 listed historic house with over 400 years of history plus an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian, Japanese, Jacobite, Stuart and Buddhist objects.
Park up on the large flat lawn in front of the castle and show off your MG whilst enjoying a picnic and then visit the castle or stroll over to the historic Castle Inn pub & Chiddingstone village just over the nearby footbridge where lots of famous movies, like “Room with a view”, were also filmed.
We have visited Chiddingstone previously, the last time being in 2017, so this is a great opportunity to visit a favourite of the South East Centre once again – or, indeed, for the first time!
PoO and Runs
We are planning on holding our Pride of Ownership competition at the castle and there will be two categories – Standard PoO and Premier PoO (for those who have won PoOs previously.)
There will also be two short runs into the event of around 17 miles each beginning from~;-
- Knights Garden Centre, Nags Hall, Godstone
- Spadeworks Garden Centre, Offham near West Malling

If you are travelling to Chiddingstone only then aim to arrive 10.30 to 11.00am
If you are on one of the two runs then you will have been notified of meeting up times.
