Drive it Day Aviation Double Header

For this year’s Drive it Day we will be holding two aviation related events.

1. Headcorn Aerodrome – for our members in Kent we will be landing at Headcorn Aerodrome where there will be a general classic car meeting. We hope to be able to park together as a club so aim to arrive at 10am. There will be a £3.50 per car entry fee payable on entry and the Lashenden Air Warfare Museum will also be open (£3 per adult). 2. Gatwick Aviation Museum – For our members in Surrey & Sussex we will be cruising at a low altitude from Bocketts Farm, Leatherhead, KT22 9BS from 10am. There is a cafe and facilities at the farm before you leave for a 24 mile drive to the Gatwick Aviation Museum. We have arranged MG parking and a discount rate for entry  of £10 per person – payable on the door. The Museum has recently undergone some renovation with new display areas under cover and a coffee shop. Cinque Ports Run – if you are in the far east of the Centre’s area then the Canterbury Natter are holding a “Cinque Ports Run” on Drive it Day along the Kent coast. For more details and to let them know you would like to join them please email John Clark at [email protected]
