Alternative PoO Round 1& 2- results

Round One of this year’s Alternative PoO took place at the Fox & Hounds in Walton on the Hill on a pleasant Summer’s evening – a drastic change from all the bad weather we have been experiencing recently.

The field to the back of the pub was used to park the MGS and there was a good selection from the 1930s to the 2020s entering.

The Overall winner was Jon Glover with his restored MGC GT.

Ian McCullough in this MG TD was the Best All Rounder.

Gareth Evans won the Most Used class with his MGBGT.

Chris Redhead was the winner in the Best restored Class.

Round Two was at the Surrey Oaks in Newdigate on the 22nd JUne and there were 14 cars entered on another warm Summer’s afternoon.

The Overall winner was Jon Glover, once again, with his MGCGT.

Adrian Malthouse with his MGA was Best All Rounder.

Mick Breare with his MG YB won the most used class.

The Best Restored went to Chris Redhead once again with his MGB.

There are several contenders after this round vying for the overall competition winner. Join us at The Fairmile on the 11th July to find out who the eventual winners will be… and have a go yourself!

Round Three is at The Fairmile in Cobham on July 11th.
