The fourth MGCCSE AutoSolo takes place once again on the old Go-Kart track at Filching Manor in Polegate, East Sussex. This is a great venue for competitors and spectators alike. The circuit was once a regularly used Go-Kart track in the grounds of Filchiung Manor itself and today is used on rare occasions only. We are privileged to be able to use the track for our annual Autosolo with it’s many turns and undulating nature.
Filching Manor is also home to a fascinating car collection and also includes Sir Malcolm Campbell’s M3 World Speed Record boat. The Autosolo is also a great chance to view the collection in between track time.
The event is now proving popular and is run with local motor clubs also taking part. So, should you wish to take this opportunity to drive on the Filching track then you will need to make your booking soon.

2. Click the link to go to the Sapphire Solutions Timing App and register your details. These will be used for the actual timing on the day.
3. Once you have done that you will need to make your payment to the club – either use the convenient online payment through our Little Box Office partners (booking fees apply) or use a bank transfer (details are in the regulations)
Organisation and Details
It will be an all-day event, with first test commencing at 10.00am and finishing at 4.30pm with
entry limited to 40 cars. The event is open to both MGCC members as well as non-members and
other SE Motorsport clubs such as Sevenoaks & District Motor Club. The event will be held under
a Motorsport UK Permit. It is open to historic as well as modern classic cars.
There will be three test routes, with entrants having three attempts at each test. All tests are
timed and the two quickest test times from each route will count to the overall result, less any
penalties such as wrong route, hitting a cone, etc. Entrants will be permitted to walk the test
route. Double entry for cars is permitted and cars can take part with passengers.
All cars must be driven to the event, be complete with RTA insurance and drivers, other than
Juniors, must hold a UK DVLA licence. Minimum age for entrants is 13 if accompanied by a
passenger who holds a DVLA licence (Passengers allowed from 12). All entrants and Passengers
must have an RS Clubmans licence, obtainable free from Motorsport UK. A video of previous

Entry costs £50 per entrant (Juniors £20). The same car can be used by different entrants.
Entry covers Motosport UK costs, venue hire and trophies.
Light refreshments may be available on site (TBC).
