Colin Reynolds

It is with some sadness that the SE Centre announce the news that Colin Reynolds has passed away, having succumbed to his aggressive illness.

It all happened so very quickly – as recently as April 2017, Colin was competing at the Brooklands 12/12 in his M Type 12/12 Replica. Colin was a Club member for well over 30 years, having been a regular supporter of Natters, club events and also keenly taking part in the more sporting events such as production car trials, autotests, auto solos, track days with MGs on Track, etc.  Colin and Pauline were also regular supporters in overseas events such as European weekends, EEOTYs, and even travelled as far as South Africa for the Indabas. They both regularly supported the SE Centre by marshalling at club events.

In more recent times, Colin was active at Brooklands Museum as a volunteer and was still quite recently attending the museum with the support of his daughter, Katherine.  Colin was also for many years the SE Centre Webmaster, a post he only stood down from at the start of his illness.

An MGCC member who will be sorely missed.  RIP Colin.

Colin’s family kindly ask for donations instead of flowers, with all donations going directly to the Motor Neurone Disease Foundation. Donations can be given here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/colinareynolds
