A brief newsletter item for Crystal Palace and a picture of Philip’s lovely 1931 MG M-type (Le Mans) replica.
‘On the 25th May the day the SE Centre was at the Palace a total of seven MGs were entered in the sprint.
In addition to Philip’s car the others were Midgets and one MGA.
Overall we were lucky with the weather which naturally encouraged a reasonable public turn out.
As always there was a vast selection of different cars competing at this popular event.
Our stand attracted a fair amount of interest from the public and non club members alike which will hopefully mean some of those
handed information packs may join.
Thought is already being given to next year’s event when we shall be celebrating the 60th birthday of the MGA.
